Edible Times is (are!) Coming to Substack
Because this chef hates pop-up video ads as much as you do.
The Edible Times Newsletter is coming to Substack! I believe this reader-supported format is a place where Edible Times can grow, thrive, and encourage healthier plates, families, and communities.
This newsletter will be free from advertisements, paid links, and brand influence. Just solid, approachable, delicious (if you think so) recipes, insight, food literacy, and tips on living your best food life. All supported by you, the reader. And for future paid subscribers, I will be accountable to you, and you alone. Not Big Food, not search engines, not now, and not ever.
Together we can break the mold of ad-driven, bound-by-brands online recipe platforms by writing (me), reading (you), and encouraging the consumption of healthy food and food content for everyone, on any diet, on any budget.
Yes, we will eat our 🤬 vegetables here. But we will also bake up glorious French macarons (or just drool at the photos). And subscribers will get access to exclusive inspiration, forums, and recipes.
But my twice-monthly newsletters and half-scratch recipes will always be free to everyone. And if it all goes as planned, we can change the state of American food life for the better. A few home cooks, a rambling chef, and one email at a time. Until then…
